Welcome to the Christian Game Developers Network
The idea is to provide a platform for the development of christian games.
It is similar to the idea formulated here (in german):

but we also want to provide the infrastructure, so that teams can find each other
and work together.
What do we understand under the term "christian software"?
- it incorporates the values of the Bible
- it makes christian principles / doctrines easier to understand
- helps people to get interested in the bible and Jesus Christ
- honours God
We prefer working with opensource and freeware tools, and want to support christian game development, which has the goal to deliver the product without charge. If people want their copyright and closed source, this is also ok.
We prefer cross-platform and multilanguage projects.

July 2010: I have almost completely abandoned thinking about game development in general, since OpenPetra (Software for Charity Resource Planning, Administration software for charities) takes all my energy.
There are now a couple of networks doing game development with christian values and messages. For example see Christian Developers Network.
